Insurance Sales Representative Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Insurance Sales Representative to join the Luke Lehman - State Farm Agency team. This is a full-time employment opportunity based in Woodbury, MN. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business, building client relationships, and providing exceptional service to both existing and potential customers. This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated self-starters and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Insurance experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Develop insurance quotes, deliver engaging sales presentations, and successfully close sales with prospective clients.
- Establish and nurture ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring follow-up and continued support as needed.
- Engage in proactive networking activities to generate new business opportunities and expand the client base.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support to address inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving daily and long-term sales success.
- Identify and develop new service opportunities with both existing and new clients to meet their insurance and financial needs.
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty license.
- Must be able to obtain a Life & Health license.
- 1-2 years of sales experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas.
- Strong belief in the value of insurance and financial products for clients.
- Proven history of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical conduct.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to initiate contact with potential clients and secure appointments, even from a cold start.
- Base salary plus a highly competitive commission structure.
- Bonus potential for top performers.
- 50% contribution toward individual health insurance.
- 3% match on SIMPLE IRA.
- $100 monthly in State Farm financial service products.
- One day paid time off (PTO) per month worked, with 15 days PTO per year after the initial period.
