Responsibilities- Develop and follow up on leads to schedule appointments with prospective and existing clients, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities for sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding individual client needs and recommending appropriate insurance products and services.
- Conduct comprehensive, needs-based reviews with clients to educate them on available insurance options, ensuring clients are well-informed to make the best decisions for their circumstances.
- Utilize a proactive, consultative sales approach to identify customer requirements and align insurance offerings to meet those needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve agency objectives and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Assist customers with policy changes, claims inquiries, and ongoing service requests, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Previous sales experience is preferred, including roles such as inside sales representative, outside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are required to clearly convey information and build rapport with clients.
- Strong self-motivation and a results-driven attitude, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all client needs are addressed effectively.
- Ability to assess customer needs through effective interviewing and needs analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to customers in a professional and personable manner.
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license as required by state regulations. Support and guidance will be provided throughout the licensing process if needed.
