Insurance Sales Representative Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at a State Farm Agency in Sugarland, TX. This is a full-time, in-office position where you will play a key role in helping clients find insurance solutions that meet their needs. No prior insurance experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided for candidates who possess the right skill set and commitment to excellence. Candidates must be willing to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license and a Life and Health insurance license as part of their onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through proactive outreach and networking.
- Schedule appointments with prospective and existing clients to discuss their insurance needs.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and services to provide value-based solutions.
- Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships by providing attentive, responsive, and friendly service.
- Follow up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or questions.
- Support customers with insurance policy inquiries, eligibility questions, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Qualifications
- Previous insurance sales experience or possession of Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses is preferred but not required.
- Sales experience (including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results and grow within the role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to relate effectively to a diverse customer base.
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license and a Life & Health license as required by state regulations.
