The Insurance Sales Manager role is a critical leadership position within a dynamic insurance agency committed to exceptional client service and sales growth. This opportunity is ideal for driven professionals with insurance industry experience who are eager to take on a dual leadership and production capacity, often referred to as a 'player-coach' role. By combining direct sales responsibilities with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, the Insurance Sales Manager helps ensure ongoing agency success and client satisfaction.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, coaching team members, and actively contributing to the agency’s business goals. Working in a supportive environment, you will conduct weekly production meetings, enforce performance standards, and create actionable improvement plans for your team. Additionally, you will handle your own sales pipeline, developing leads, scheduling appointments, and identifying suitable insurance solutions for both new and existing clients.
The Insurance Sales Manager is also tasked with establishing and nurturing customer relationships, following up as needed, and ensuring all clients receive prompt and accurate service regarding policy inquiries, claims, billing, and coverage options. This multifaceted position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. The agency offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary, personal commission, team override, and bonuses linked to agency production. Additional benefits such as paid time off, health, vision, and dental coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan are also provided to support your well-being and professional growth.
To succeed as an Insurance Sales Manager, candidates should bring proven experience in insurance sales, a successful track record of achieving sales targets, and hold or be willing to obtain necessary state licenses such as Property & Casualty and Life & Health. The ability to communicate effectively, relate to customers, and lead by example is essential. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
