Insurance Sales Manager - Summary
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of licensed insurance producers and account managers to drive sales and retention.
- Collaborate with the agency owner to set strategies, sales goals, and operational plans for growth.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused culture within the agency.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and internal standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to sales team members.
- Set, monitor, and analyze performance metrics, sales goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Recruit, onboard, and support licensing for new staff members.
- Develop and execute sales campaigns, lead-generation, and referral strategies to drive new business.
- Support regulatory compliance and ensure all team members meet licensing requirements and adhere to agency policies.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to optimize business processes.
- Assist in identifying customer needs, scheduling appointments, and marketing insurance products and services.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service, including responding to inquiries about insurance coverage, policy changes, claims, and billing.
- Support customer retention, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives to maximize agency growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management, ideally within insurance or financial services.

- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret metrics and dashboards to drive action.

- Active property & casualty insurance license required.
- Life & health insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems, such as those used by State Farm, is preferred.
- Experience with multi-line insurance products (auto, home, life, health, business) is a plus.
