This full-time opportunity is ideal for driven professionals who are passionate about helping individuals and businesses protect what matters most. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will utilize your active Property and Casualty insurance license to build lasting relationships, educate clients about their insurance options, and deliver the exceptional service for which our agency is known. You’ll operate out of our Lubbock, TX office, collaborating with a supportive team and engaging with the local community to expand our client base.

Insurance Sales Agent – P&C Licensed SummaryIn this role as an Insurance Sales Agent (P&C Licensed), you will be responsible for driving new business growth, maintaining existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products. You’ll leverage your expertise in insurance sales to provide tailored solutions for our clients, ensuring their unique needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your ability to communicate clearly, network professionally, and operate with the highest level of integrity will be integral to your success and the continued growth of Grimes Insurance Agency, Inc.
Duties & Responsibilities- Establish and nurture new relationships with prospective clients, guiding them through the insurance selection and enrollment process.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with referral partners and key stakeholders.
- Cultivate ongoing relationships with current clients, identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance lines such as auto, home, or business coverage.
- Represent the agency at professional organizations, association meetings, and local networking events to increase brand awareness and drive business growth.
- Handle inbound calls, respond to client inquiries, and provide exceptional support throughout the sales process.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and accurately input client information into our agency management system following each sale.
- Support local and community events as a positive representative of Grimes Insurance Agency, Inc.

- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in the Lubbock, TX office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage rejection with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and experience using CRM systems.
