Insurance Sales Agent (P&C Licensed) - Summary
- Full-time sales role focused on new client acquisition and account management
- Utilize an active Property and Casualty license to serve clients in the personal lines market
- Leverage technology and agency-provided resources to maximize productivity
- Participate in a supportive, team-oriented culture with opportunities for growth
Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage in lead conversion and new account acquisition for personal lines insurance products
- Manage a pipeline of provided sales opportunities using agency systems and technology
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies suited to the insurance market
- Demonstrate proficiency with carrier product offerings, underwriting guidelines, and agency technology
- Self-generate leads in addition to utilizing agency-provided opportunities
- Complete application intake, produce quotes, present proposals, and close new business
- Issue new client accounts with respective insurance carriers and transition files to onboarding teams
- Provide backup support for client onboarding and assist with training new sales consultants
- Add new lines of business to existing accounts and support account renewals and policy rewrites
- Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 client service, including handling renewals and complex account needs
- Ensure compliance with underwriting stipulations and maintain accurate records

- High commission structure: 80% new business commission on account acquisition and new lines; 50% renewal commission after meeting premium thresholds

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty Producer License required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal lines insurance markets
- Thorough understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and state insurance laws
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to technology-driven processes
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and client rapport-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and a motivation to build long-term client relationships
