Insurance Sales Agent (P&C Licensed) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively pursue and convert leads into new insurance accounts.
- Manage a dynamic pipeline of sales opportunities provided by the agency.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to maximize results.
- Maintain proficiency in carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and agency systems.
- Initiate applications, produce quotes, present proposals, and close business with new clients.
- Issue new client accounts with respective insurance carriers and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Support the transition of new business files to the Client Onboarding Team and provide backup as needed.
- Satisfy all underwriting stipulations associated with new accounts.
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new sales consultants.
- Add new lines of business to existing client accounts and support policy renewals and rewrites.
- Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 customer service, focusing on renewals, reshop, rewrite, and client support rather than call center volume.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base salary with regular performance reviews and opportunities for increases.
- High commission structure, including up to 80% on new business and new lines, and up to 50% on renewal commissions after certain premium thresholds.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty Producer License is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the personal lines insurance market.
- Thorough understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and state insurance regulations.
- Proficiency with computers and comfort with adopting new technologies.
- Strong communication skills, detail orientation, and proven ability to build client rapport.
