Insurance Sales Agent (P&C, L&H) - Summary
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering tailored insurance solutions in Property & Casualty and Life & Health policies

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments to discuss insurance needs with prospective and existing clients
- Identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Establish and nurture customer relationships, following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and quotas through effective prospecting and closing strategies
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to explain policy features and benefits
- Maintain accurate client records and handle confidential information with professionalism
- Participate in relevant training programs to stay current on industry best practices and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Life & Health insurance license preferred
- Experience in insurance sales or related sales roles (inside or outside sales, retail, or telemarketing) preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Ability to relate effectively to customers and understand their needs
