Insurance Sales Agent (P&C, L&H) - Summary
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on property, casualty, life, and health insurance products.
- Support the agency's mission to deliver value-driven insurance solutions and superior customer service.
- Leverage sales skills and industry knowledge to help clients achieve peace of mind and financial security.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through various prospecting methods, including outbound calls and referrals.
- Schedule and conduct appointments to assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and nurture positive customer relationships through regular follow-up and proactive communication.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas by consistently closing new business and retaining existing clients.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, products, and underwriting requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall agency performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous insurance sales experience preferred, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred; must be able to obtain required licenses if not already held.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen actively and respond effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to build rapport and relate to a diverse customer base.
- Sales experience in inside or outside sales, retail, or telemarketing is a plus.
