Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) - Summary
As an Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed), you will be responsible for identifying and addressing client insurance needs, providing accurate quotes, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will engage with clients through outbound calls, appointments, and follow-ups, guiding them through the selection of appropriate insurance products and services. Your efforts will help clients protect what matters most while supporting the agency’s mission of service excellence and community trust.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with leads and past customers to schedule appointments, assess insurance needs, and present suitable products and services.
- Generate accurate insurance quotes for prospective and current clients, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process.
- Develop and nurture lasting customer relationships, following up as needed to address questions and provide ongoing support.
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service, assisting with inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverage, changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of State Farm insurance products, staying informed about industry updates and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency sales goals and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license (Missouri or Kansas) required.
- Active Life & Health license (Missouri or Kansas) required.
- Previous insurance sales experience is preferred, but not required; candidates with a background in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals or quotas is a strong plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills essential for client interactions.
- Strong self-motivation, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Capacity to build rapport and effectively relate to customers from diverse backgrounds.
