Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) - Summary
As an Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed), your main focus will be to generate leads, establish and nurture customer relationships, and provide expert guidance on insurance products. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, ensuring their questions are answered and their coverage needs are met. This position requires a blend of sales acumen, insurance product knowledge, and a genuine desire to help customers achieve financial security and peace of mind.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and inbound inquiries.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend suitable products.
- Present and explain insurance policy options in a clear and professional manner.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing support and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt and accurate customer service, responding to inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve agency sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of client interactions and policy information.
- Stay current with insurance industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license required
- Active Life & Health license required
- Prior insurance sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated sales success in inside sales, outside sales, retail, or telemarketing is a plus
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals
