Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) - Summary
The Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) is responsible for developing leads, identifying customer needs, providing tailored solutions through various insurance products, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves direct interaction with clients, handling inquiries, assisting with policy management, and supporting agency growth objectives. The position is ideal for individuals who are motivated, organized, and possess strong communication and sales skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads, schedule appointments, and assess customer insurance needs.
- Market, present, and sell appropriate insurance products and services in line with customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through consistent follow-up and personalized service.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer support, including responding to inquiries about coverage, policy changes, claims, billing, and eligibility.
- Assist customers with policy transfers, clarifications, and claims submissions, ensuring compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency sales goals and contribute to overall business growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Active Life & Health insurance license is required.
- Insurance sales experience preferred; background in outside/inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and effectively identify their needs.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
- Successful completion of any applicable licensing requirements and training programs set by the agency.
