Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) - Summary
- Serve as a licensed representative for a wide range of insurance products, including auto, fire, life, and health insurance
- Engage with current and prospective customers to assess their needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by quoting and closing new business
- Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance standards in all activities
- Foster strong relationships with customers, team members, and the broader community
Duties & Responsibilities
- Quote at least 160 households per month across multiple insurance lines
- Generate a minimum of 40 life and 40 health insurance quotes each month
- Collaborate on team prospecting strategies and pursue new leads from diverse marketing sources
- Respond to customer and teammate inquiries, issues, and escalations in a timely manner (within 60 minutes)
- Keep all production platforms, policy records, and task lists up-to-date and accurate
- Complete all administrative and follow-up tasks within established underwriting deadlines
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development sessions
- Maintain a positive, solution-focused approach in all communications
- Support team members through mentorship and sharing of best practices
- Set and monitor personal sales activity goals in partnership with leadership
- Continuously improve sales techniques through feedback, roleplay, and real-world practice
- Build a reputation for credibility, trust, and service excellence

Qualifications & Requirements
- Some experience in the insurance industry is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Resident Property & Casualty license
- Ability to obtain and maintain Resident Life and Health license
- Eligibility to obtain non-resident licenses in multiple states as needed
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to learn and utilize computer systems efficiently
