Key Responsibilities- Develop and present insurance quotes, effectively communicating coverage options to clients and guiding them through the sales process to close policies.
- Establish and maintain strong, ongoing client relationships, offering prompt and accurate support and timely follow-up as needed.
- Actively engage in networking activities to generate leads and build new business opportunities within the Vernon, CT community and beyond.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity in all client interactions, ensuring that client needs are met with accuracy and care.
- Consistently work to identify new service opportunities for both existing and prospective clients, expanding the agency’s reach and impact.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a total commitment to daily success and agency goals.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Life & Health insurance license.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to serve a diverse client base.
- 1-2 years of sales experience is preferred, with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas.
- Strong belief in the importance of insurance and financial products in clients’ lives, with enthusiasm about educating others.
- Proven track record for trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical conduct in professional settings.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities, to effectively connect with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to initiate new contacts and set appointments, demonstrating confidence in cold-calling and lead generation strategies.
