Insurance Sales Agent Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Insurance Sales Agent to join our full-time team in Springfield, TN. This role is ideal for candidates who are licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health insurance, and who have a strong background in insurance sales. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in supporting our agency’s mission to provide exceptional service and reliable coverage options tailored to our customers’ needs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through various channels to generate new business opportunities for insurance products and services.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with potential and existing clients to assess their insurance needs.
- Market appropriate insurance products and services, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health policies.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring ongoing communication and effective follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing issues.
- Utilize strong communication and listening skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and quotas by demonstrating self-motivation and a results-driven approach.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- Active Life & Health license required.
- Prior experience in insurance sales preferred.
- Experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to effectively relate to customers and address their insurance needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Self-motivated with a passion for helping others and a commitment to personal and team success.
