Insurance Sales Agent - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate leads through various channels to expand the agency’s client base
- Schedule appointments and conduct client interviews to assess and identify insurance requirements
- Market and present suitable insurance products and services, including property, casualty, life, and health lines
- Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships to encourage retention and referrals
- Respond to client inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, claims, and billing inquiries
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service throughout the client lifecycle
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any additional insurance needs
- Maintain compliance with all agency and state licensing requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Life & Health insurance license preferred
- Proven sales experience in insurance or related fields (inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to clients
- Willingness to complete additional training as required by the agency
