Insurance Sales Agent - Summary
- Represent a reputable and award-winning insurance agency, providing professional insurance guidance to clients.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service, addressing client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment focused on achieving agency goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients and generate new business through lead development and outreach.
- Schedule and conduct consultations to assess client insurance needs and recommend suitable products.
- Utilize product knowledge to market property, casualty, life, and health insurance options.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, answer questions, and address any policy concerns.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and ensure compliance with all agency and regulatory requirements.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance targets.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize on ways to expand the agency’s reach and impact.
- Provide guidance and education to clients about coverage options and risk management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Life & Health insurance license preferred.
- Previous insurance sales experience preferred; retail, telemarketing, or inside/outside sales experience also considered.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas.
- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and listening contexts.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build rapport and effectively relate to clients of diverse backgrounds.
