Insurance Sales Agent - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)
- Implement inbound and outbound sales strategies to generate new business
- Generate insurance quotes, follow up with prospective clients, and close personal lines policies
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly support to all clients
- Maintain high ethical standards and a strong work ethic committed to daily success
- Cross-sell and upsell insurance products to existing clients to enhance their coverage
- Establish and nurture referral partnerships with professionals such as mortgage lenders and realtors
- Strive to exceed monthly sales goals through consistent performance
- Identify and develop new financial service opportunities with both current and new clients
- Collaborate with agency leadership to leverage provided leads for increased sales activity

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior insurance sales experience is preferred, but not required
- Background in sales or client-facing roles is a plus
- Demonstrated trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical conduct
- Ability to be coached and willingness to learn
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship building
- High motivation and determination to achieve sales targets
- General Lines Property and Casualty License required (support provided for obtaining if not currently licensed)
- General Lines Life & Health License required within 30 days of employment
