Insurance Sales Agent - Summary
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients seeking insurance solutions across property & casualty and life & health lines.
- Implement inbound and outbound sales strategies to grow new business and enhance client retention.
- Benefit from a robust support system, including daily sales leads, comprehensive training, and career advancement pathways.
- Play a key role in contributing to the agency’s success by meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain General Lines Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (support to obtain licenses will be provided).
- Generate, follow up, and close insurance quotes for personal and commercial clients.
- Utilize agency-provided leads to maximize sales opportunities and expand your client portfolio.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly client support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Practice ethical sales techniques and maintain the highest standard of professionalism in all client interactions.
- Cross-sell and upsell insurance products to existing clients, deepening relationships and increasing client value.
- Develop and maintain referral partnerships with mortgage lenders, realtors, and related industry professionals.
- Consistently strive to meet or exceed established monthly sales targets as a key contributor to agency growth.
- Identify and cultivate new financial service opportunities within the agency’s existing and prospective client bases.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings to stay informed on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous insurance or sales experience is preferred but not required; a strong client-facing background is a plus.
- Demonstrated record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to be coachable and receptive to feedback and professional development.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain client relationships.
- High level of motivation, determination, and a strong work ethic.
- Required: General Lines Property and Casualty License (support provided to obtain).
- Required: General Lines Life & Health License (to be obtained within 30 days of employment, with assistance).
