Insurance Sales Agent - Summary
- Serve as a primary point of contact for policyholders, providing knowledgeable guidance on insurance products and services.
- Utilize your sales skills to identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions, including auto, home, life, and health policies.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team, striving for excellence in every customer interaction and contributing to agency growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop leads through outreach, scheduling appointments, and actively engaging potential clients in meaningful conversations.
- Identify customer needs and market appropriate insurance products and services based on those needs.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of State Farm insurance products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Meet and strive to exceed individual and agency sales targets and goals.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in insurance sales and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas is preferred.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) insurance licenses are preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain these licenses if not already held.
- Sales experience in roles such as outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing is beneficial.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong ability to relate to and connect with customers from diverse backgrounds.
