Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain leads through various outreach strategies to expand the agency’s client base.
- Schedule appointments and engage with prospective and existing customers to assess their insurance requirements.
- Market suitable insurance products and services tailored to individual customer needs, including property, casualty, life, and health policies.
- Establish strong client relationships and provide consistent follow-up to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service, including responding to inquiries about policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, claims, and billing matters.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and manage policy documentation efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
- Life and Health Insurance License preferred.
- Prior experience in insurance sales or a related field such as inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and quotas is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to listen and understand customer needs.
- Proven ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced office environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and professionalism.
- Ability to effectively relate to customers, build trust, and deliver personalized service.
- Must be able to commute to and work in the Middleton, CT office on a full-time basis.
