Insurance Sales Agent Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Agent to join a State Farm independent contractor agency in Springfield, MO. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others, enjoy engaging with the public, and have a strong interest in the insurance and financial services industry. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will represent State Farm products, provide valuable guidance to clients, and play a key role in supporting the agency’s growth and client retention.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met through regular follow-ups and proactive communication.
- Utilize a needs-based review process to educate customers on available insurance and financial service options, helping them make informed decisions that protect their assets and future.
- Develop leads and nurture prospects through a combination of outbound marketing, scheduling appointments, and providing tailored recommendations based on individual client requirements.
- Market State Farm insurance and financial service products in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and contribute to an inclusive, high-performing work environment.
- Strong interest in marketing insurance products and services tailored to client needs.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and client accounts efficiently.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset, demonstrating initiative in addressing challenges and identifying solutions.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize computer systems and agency software for client management and policy processing.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance License for Missouri required at the time of hire.
- Active Life and Health Insurance License for Missouri required at the time of hire.
