We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a key part in supporting customers by addressing their insurance needs and ensuring a positive experience with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers, ensuring consistent and proactive communication to address their needs and concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service, including responding to inquiries related to insurance policies, coverages, policy changes, claims submissions, and billing matters.
- Educate customers about available insurance options using a needs-based review process, helping them make informed decisions to protect their assets and loved ones.
- Maintain a high standard of work ethic and demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving daily and long-term success for both customers and the agency.
- Complete timely and thorough activity reports for management and ensure all client records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Stay informed on product updates, licensing requirements, technical changes, and engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education as required.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive in problem-solving, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work within established timelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required.
- Proficient in learning and utilizing computer systems relevant to the insurance industry.
- Must be able to obtain a FL 4-40 Customer Representative license within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to obtain a FL 2-20 Property & Casualty license within 30 days of hire.
- Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with changes in insurance products and industry regulations.
