Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers while following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about their insurance options and available products.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to success each day by meeting agency standards and expectations.
Requirements
- Possession of, or ability to obtain within 60 days, a Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Chinese, or Russian preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- People-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in learning and using computer functions relevant to agency operations.
- Demonstrates pride in completing work accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provides timely and thorough activity reports to the agent.
- Committed to staying current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing continuing education.
