Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist clients with insurance policy questions, coverage options, claims processes, and billing concerns, ensuring a positive and informed experience at every touchpoint.
- Cross-sell auto, home, and business insurance products to current clients by identifying coverage gaps and recommending suitable solutions tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with the agency owner and team members to develop and implement strategies that drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Utilize analytical skills to monitor and measure the effectiveness of customer satisfaction initiatives, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support the agency's compliance with state regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry standards, and licensing requirements.
- Coach and mentor fellow team members when needed, promoting best practices in customer engagement and service excellence.
- Handle sensitive client information with professionalism and confidentiality, adhering to all company and legal standards.
- Participate in occasional evening and weekend activities to meet customer needs and agency objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is required, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment.
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within the first 30 days of employment, as required by state statutes.
- Proficiency in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with performance metrics to assess customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in an office setting.
