Insurance Customer Service Representative Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. This position plays a vital role in supporting clients and enhancing the overall customer experience in the insurance sector. Located in Edwards, CO, our agency values individuals who are passionate about customer care and strive to provide high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in helping others navigate their insurance needs. Previous insurance experience is not required, as we offer comprehensive training for candidates with the right skill set. Candidates must either hold or be willing to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license as well as a Life and Health license.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through regular follow-up and outreach.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance products, policy changes, claim submissions, billing, and coverage options.
- Educate customers about available insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based approach.
- Assist clients with eligibility questions, policy transfers, and clarifications on insurance availability and coverage details.
- Support the agency team in achieving customer satisfaction and retention goals.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive in addressing and resolving customer concerns.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Capable of assessing customer needs and conducting effective interviews to identify appropriate solutions.
- Ability to relate effectively to clients from diverse backgrounds and provide compassionate service.
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Property and Casualty insurance license.
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Life and Health insurance license.
