Insurance Customer Service Representative - Summary
- Serve as a primary point of contact for insurance clients, supporting them through policy selection, changes, and claims processes
- Engage in proactive outreach to develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs
- Work collaboratively with the agency team to deliver exceptional service and achieve marketing objectives
- Foster positive customer interactions and maintain a professional work ethic at all times
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing outstanding customer service and support
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding insurance products, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, billing clarification, and claims
- Effectively market insurance products and services that fit the needs of clients through value-based conversations
- Schedule and conduct client appointments, ensuring all customer needs are addressed
- Utilize a needs-based process to educate clients about available insurance options and recommend appropriate products
- Follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address any ongoing needs or questions
- Support the agency’s marketing efforts by helping establish and achieve sales goals
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agency leadership
- Stay up to date on product changes, licensing requirements, and continuing education

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty License
- Previous experience in insurance preferred

- Proficiency with computer functions and willingness to learn new systems
