Insurance Agent Trainee Position OverviewThe Insurance Agent Trainee position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a rewarding career in the insurance industry. As an Insurance Agent Trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive producer program designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a successful insurance agent. This full-time role offers the chance to learn directly from experienced professionals, providing mentorship and hands-on training in sales, customer service, insurance products, and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate insurance quotes, pricing information, and policy details to both prospective and existing clients, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the process.
- Follow all company and industry guidelines to ensure compliance in quoting procedures and practices.
- Meet or exceed new business sales goals by utilizing existing leads, generating new leads, and effectively marketing appropriate insurance products.
- Work closely with experienced agents and team members to develop professional skills and gain deeper industry knowledge.
- Participate in training sessions focused on sales techniques, customer relationship management, and product knowledge to support your growth as an Insurance Agent Trainee.
- Ability to obtain or current possession of a Property & Casualty license and a Life & Health license. Study materials will be provided to candidates who do not currently hold these licenses.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including being outgoing, confident, and assertive in interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional and personal growth within the insurance industry.
- Must successfully pass a credit and background check in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Previous sales, marketing, or networking experience is a plus, as is prior possession of a Property & Casualty insurance license.
