Insurance Agent (P&C, L&H) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through proactive outreach and scheduled appointments
- Identify and assess customer insurance needs to recommend appropriate products and services
- Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships, providing ongoing support and follow-up
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service across all channels, including inquiries related to insurance coverage, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and agency procedures
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement sales strategies
- Ensure all activities comply with agency policies, applicable licensing requirements, and ethical standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Property & Casualty license (P&C)
- Valid Life & Health license (L&H)
- Insurance sales experience preferred
- Background in outside or inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Demonstrated self-motivation and drive for success
- Ability to build rapport and relate to a diverse customer base
- Must pass a background check and meet all licensing requirements
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
