Insurance Agent Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities- Establish and grow your own portfolio of clients by actively seeking out new prospects and nurturing existing relationships.
- Educate individuals, families, and businesses about a variety of insurance products, including property and casualty, life, and health insurance policies.
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to meet their requirements.
- Prepare and present personalized insurance proposals, clearly explaining policy features, benefits, and associated risks.
- Guide clients through the insurance application process and assist them with completing all necessary paperwork.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries, policy changes, and claims support.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs provided by the company, including award-winning instruction and one-on-one coaching.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes to ensure the highest level of service and compliance.
- Ability to obtain or current possession of a valid Property & Casualty license and a Life & Health license. Study materials and support are provided for qualified candidates who do not yet hold both licenses.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, and delegate responsibilities to others as needed.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies as they relate to insurance products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust with clients.
- Must successfully pass a credit and background check as part of the hiring process.
