Insurance Agent Job OverviewFarm Bureau Financial Services is seeking motivated individuals for a full-time Insurance Agent position based in Great Bend, KS. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to identify their insurance and financial services needs.
- Generate new business through proactive outreach methods, including telephone calls, networking, and referrals.
- Set and conduct appointments to assess clients’ coverage requirements and present tailored insurance solutions.
- Create and deliver comprehensive insurance proposals and sales presentations.
- Meet or exceed new business production goals and objectives as set by Farm Bureau Financial Services.
- Utilize a "Project 150" approach by reaching out to a network of family, friends, and acquaintances to establish a client base.
- Develop expertise in the full range of property and casualty, life insurance, and annuity products offered by the company.
- Advocate for clients in the community by identifying and helping to mitigate their everyday risks.
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty License and Life and Health License, if not already held.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse client base.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to efficiently start and operate a new business.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning as part of the company’s training programs.
- SIE certification is considered a plus.
- Currently residing in AZ, IA, KS, MN, NE, NM, SD, or UT.
