Insurance Agent - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain required Property & Casualty License and Life and Health License (if not already held)
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as set by Farm Bureau Financial Services
- Generate new business through networking, telephone outreach, and other channels
- Set appointments and assess clients’ financial needs to recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Develop and present insurance proposals; deliver persuasive sales presentations and close sales
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a background check
- Utilize strong oral and written communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues
- Initiate business by contacting a network of family, friends, and acquaintances to build your client base
- Advocate for clients within your community by identifying risks and providing tailored financial protection

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to obtain state-required insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life and Health)

- SIE certification is a plus
