Insurance Agent - Summary
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients seeking property, casualty, life, and annuity insurance solutions.
- Build and manage your own book of business through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Develop customized proposals and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Operate independently while benefiting from comprehensive training and team support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life and Health).
- Meet or exceed new business production goals and objectives as an Insurance Agent.
- Generate new business through telephone outreach, networking, and utilizing personal and professional contacts.
- Set appointments with prospective clients to assess their coverage needs and financial objectives.
- Develop and present insurance proposals tailored to specific client needs.
- Close sales and deliver excellent post-sale service to foster long-term client relationships.
- Maintain a list of 150 contacts (Project 150) to jumpstart business growth and client engagement.
- Act as an advocate for clients by identifying everyday risks and recommending suitable insurance solutions.
- Comply with all applicable regulations and company policies, including obtaining a valid driver’s license and passing a background check.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty License and Life and Health License prior to or upon hiring.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective client engagement.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory background check required.
- Completion of SIE certification is considered an asset for the Insurance Agent role.
