Insurance Agent Job OverviewFarm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Insurance Agent for a full-time opportunity based in Fort Mohave, AZ. As an Insurance Agent, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and families protect their assets and plan for their future through a diverse range of insurance and financial products. Key Responsibilities- Obtain and maintain necessary licenses including Property & Casualty, and Life and Health Insurance.
- Meet established new business production goals and objectives by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Generate new business through various channels including telephone outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Set appointments with prospective and existing clients to identify their financial service needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop comprehensive insurance proposals, deliver sales presentations, and close sales to support client financial security.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and successfully pass background checks as required by industry regulations.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Leverage personal and professional networks, including a Project 150 list of contacts, to establish and grow a client base.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and operating a successful business.
- Commitment to advocating for and supporting the wellbeing of community members through insurance and financial guidance.
- Ability to identify and address everyday risks faced by clients to safeguard their livelihoods and futures.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to manage daily activities and client relationships independently.
- SIE certification is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
