This position is open to candidates residing in AZ, IA, KS, MN, NE, NM, SD, and UT. Key Responsibilities- Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
- Meet or exceed new business production goals and objectives as established by Farm Bureau Financial Services.
- Source and generate new client leads through telephone outreach, networking events, referrals, and other business development channels.
- Set appointments with potential clients to identify their insurance and financial service needs.
- Develop tailored insurance proposals, deliver engaging sales presentations, and effectively close sales to help clients protect what matters most to them.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and successfully complete all required background checks.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to clearly explain insurance products and processes to clients.
- Use the Project 150 strategy by building and maintaining a list of 150 contacts, including family, friends, and acquaintances, to jumpstart your business growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to operate and grow a new business.
- Ability to efficiently manage all aspects of business ownership, from client relations to sales and service.
- Dedication to advocacy and providing high-quality service to members of your community.
- Capability to identify clients’ everyday risks and recommend appropriate products to protect their livelihoods and long-term goals.
- Preferred: SIE certification.
- Proven self-starter with motivation to achieve results and make a positive impact.
