Responsibilities- Obtain and maintain the required Property & Casualty License, as well as a Life and Health License.
- Meet and exceed new business production goals and objectives set by Farm Bureau Financial Services.
- Generate new business opportunities through telephone outreach, networking events, and various other sources.
- Set appointments and assess clients’ financial service needs to offer tailored insurance solutions.
- Develop comprehensive insurance proposals, deliver compelling sales presentations, and successfully close sales with clients.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company standards for background checks.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills for effective client interactions.
- Leverage your personal and professional network by creating a Project 150 list of 150 family members, friends, and acquaintances to jumpstart your client base.
- Ability to obtain required state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life and Health).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to operate and grow a new business independently.
- Strong advocacy for clients and a commitment to serving your local community.
- Proven ability to identify risks and recommend insurance products to protect clients’ livelihoods and futures.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Possession of the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) certification is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
