Primary Responsibilities- Obtain required Property & Casualty License and Life and Health License as mandated by state regulations.
- Meet established new business production goals and objectives to contribute to the agency’s growth.
- Proactively generate new business leads through telephone outreach, networking events, and other prospecting methods.
- Set appointments to understand and assess clients’ financial needs and insurance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive insurance proposals tailored to each client, deliver professional sales presentations, and effectively close sales.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and fulfill all background check requirements.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Utilize the Project 150 approach by reaching out to a personal network of family, friends, and acquaintances to jumpstart your business.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building and operating a new business efficiently.
- Advocacy for clients in the community, focusing on protecting their livelihoods and futures through appropriate insurance solutions.
- Strong ability to identify everyday risks faced by clients and recommend suitable coverage options.
- Current SIE certification is a plus.
