Insurance Agent - Summary
The Insurance Agent role is focused on building and managing a client base, providing expert guidance on insurance and financial products, and achieving production goals. This position offers the independence of business ownership with the backing and support of an established, reputable company. Duties & Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain required insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty License as well as Life and Health License.
- Achieve new business production goals and objectives by developing and expanding your client base.
- Generate new business leads through telephone outreach, networking, and other strategic approaches.
- Set appointments with potential clients to assess their financial services needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Create and deliver detailed insurance proposals, conduct sales presentations, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a Project 150 list of family, friends, and acquaintances to launch and grow your business network.
- Uphold a high standard of oral and written communication when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a background check as part of the employment process.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain state-required insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life and Health).

- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
- Completion of SIE certification is advantageous.
