Insurance Agent - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health
- Meet new business production goals and objectives set by the organization
- Prospect and generate new business through telephone outreach, networking, and other lead sources
- Set appointments with prospective clients to assess their financial services needs
- Develop customized insurance proposals and deliver compelling sales presentations
- Close sales by effectively communicating the value of insurance products
- Maintain a list of contacts to jumpstart your business and expand your network
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Provide ongoing support and service to clients, fostering long-term relationships

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty License and Life & Health License (required)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Ability to identify and assess client needs, and create tailored insurance solutions
- SIE certification preferred
