Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing guidance on life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products such as mutual funds through NYLIFE Securities LLC (member of FINRA and SIPC).
- Consult with clients to assess their financial needs and recommend tailored insurance and investment solutions.
- Utilize industry-leading digital tools and resources to identify new business opportunities and retain existing clients through effective marketing and communication strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to remain informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and New York Life’s comprehensive suite of products.
- Collaborate with a team of peers and leverage mentorship, study groups, and peer-to-peer support to foster a culture of learning and success.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated self-discipline, motivation, and a drive for success.
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly through comprehensive training programs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to build a meaningful, client-focused career in financial services.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or financial services is helpful but not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must meet any applicable licensing requirements for insurance and securities, or be willing to pursue these credentials with company support.
