Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs across home, auto, commercial, life, health, and financial policies.
- Utilize knowledge gained from the University of Farmers® training program to educate clients about insurance products and services, ensuring they understand their coverage options.
- Drive new business acquisition through effective sales strategies, prospecting, networking, and community engagement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and assisting with policy changes and claims processes as needed.
- Manage your own schedule and workflow, leveraging the flexibility of the program to balance professional and personal commitments.
- Meet or exceed performance goals related to sales, customer retention, and business growth within a defined 24-month period.
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship initiatives provided by Farmers Insurance to support your professional development and business success.
- Pass a comprehensive background check covering criminal history, regulatory actions, and financial responsibility.
- Hold or obtain active licenses in property, casualty, life, and health insurance as required by state regulations.
- Successfully complete the University of Farmers® Associate Agent training program prior to appointment as an Insurance Agent.
- Demonstrate achievement of target cumulative new business gross folio premium within the first 24 months of appointment.
- Participate in and successfully complete a panel interview with Farmers Insurance representatives.
- Exhibit strong communication, organizational, and sales skills, along with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing business needs in a competitive environment.
