Insurance Account Representative - Summary
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the insurance agency, facilitating smooth communication and understanding of insurance products.
- Work collaboratively with agency team members to achieve business development and customer service objectives.
- Proactively identify customer needs, recommend suitable insurance products, and support clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to ensure their insurance needs are met.
- Identify prospects, generate leads, and schedule appointments to present available insurance solutions.
- Conduct needs analysis to determine appropriate coverage and recommend products such as property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Collaborate with the agency team to set and meet marketing and sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, policy details, and client communications in agency management systems.
- Participate in training and licensing programs to stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
- Handle all client questions, concerns, and service requests efficiently and professionally.
- Support agency growth through effective cross-selling and up-selling of products and services.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Japanese is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is a plus.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Must be able to obtain Life and Health insurance license.
- Comfortable learning new systems and utilizing available resources to resolve client inquiries.
