Insurance Account Manager (P&C, L&H) - Summary
As an Insurance Account Manager (P&C, L&H), your primary objective will be to develop client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and provide outstanding service to our policyholders. You will play a key role in the agency's success by supporting clients with their insurance needs, managing policy changes, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from initial contact through ongoing support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate and cultivate leads by scheduling appointments and engaging with prospective and existing clients.
- Identify specific customer needs and recommend appropriate Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) insurance products and services.
- Establish, build, and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service—including responding to inquiries about product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, claims, transfers, and billing.
- Market the agency’s insurance offerings in a professional and consultative manner.
- Support clients through the claims process by assisting with submissions and clarifying policy coverage details.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas through effective prospecting and relationship management.
- Consistently document client interactions in accordance with agency procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- Life & Health insurance license required, or ability to obtain within a specified period.
- Previous experience in insurance sales or a related role is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued.
- Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales targets is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer engagement and problem-solving.
- Ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of customers.
