Instructional Designer – Full-time
As an Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping engaging, effective, and innovative learning experiences that drive organizational growth. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and evaluation of advanced learning programs that support key strategic initiatives. Your focus will be on creating robust training materials using proven instructional design methodologies, delivering both instructor-led and digital learning solutions. You will partner closely with business leaders to conduct thorough needs analyses, ensuring that training programs are aligned with organizational goals and tailored to meet specific learning objectives. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach, as you will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously and mentor peers to foster a strong learning culture within the organization.
Utilizing your expertise in industry-standard e-learning development tools such as Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia, along with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, you will create visually appealing and interactive training content. Your solid foundation in adult learning theory, instructional design models, and evaluation methodologies will enable you to design curriculum that delivers measurable results. You will also be responsible for developing effective assessments to gauge learning outcomes and ensure the ongoing quality and relevance of training initiatives. Staying informed about the latest trends in instructional technology and best practices is essential, as you will be expected to recommend and implement new approaches that enhance the learning experience.
To excel in this role, a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or a similar field—or equivalent experience—is required. You should have a strong background in designing and delivering both virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training. Exceptional technical writing and communication skills are key, as you will be tasked with producing clear and concise instructional materials and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. Strong project management skills will support your ability to oversee multiple initiatives, while proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom will facilitate effective teamwork and communication.
Preferred qualifications for this Instructional Designer position include a master’s degree in a relevant field, prior experience mentoring peers or junior instructional designers, and a demonstrated ability to measure and communicate the return on investment for learning solutions.
