Aspire Educational Services is hiring a Instructional Assistant (K-12) to support students at Fairwold Academy in Fairwold Academy, PA. This position offers the opportunity to work directly alongside students with disabilities, providing the consistent support they need to thrive in the classroom. Under the direction of the classroom teacher and special education staff, you will provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support, assist students with completing academic tasks and daily routines, implement behavior support strategies, help with transitions throughout the school day, and support the use of assistive technology and communication devices as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience working with students with disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, compassionate, and able to maintain a calm and positive presence in a school setting.
