The Inpatient Cardiology NP/PA will primarily focus on the management of patients with cardiac conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, and vascular disorders. This position involves the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of treatment plans for adult patients admitted to the hospital. Candidates with prior cardiology or inpatient experience are encouraged to apply, but motivated new graduates who are passionate about cardiovascular medicine will also be considered. An active California state license is preferred, but applications from candidates eligible for licensure will also be reviewed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage adult inpatients with a range of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, and vascular disease
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with attending cardiologists
- Monitor patient progress, perform routine and urgent evaluations, and adjust treatment as necessary
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and laboratory studies
- Educate patients and their families about cardiac health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
- Document care accurately in electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Provide high-quality care while adhering to industry best practices and organizational policies
- Ensure effective communication with referring providers and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) (California preferred or eligibility to obtain)
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA)
- Prior experience in cardiology or inpatient medicine preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
