Utilizing the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system, you will ensure accurate documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) - Summary

- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, overnight shifts (2200 - 0800).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical care to inpatients with diverse cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology cases.
- Perform comprehensive consults and respond to floor calls for cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately using EPIC EMR.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to treatment planning.
- Respond promptly to emergent cardiac events in a STEMI facility as part of the care team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and protocols in inpatient cardiology care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unrestricted North Carolina nurse practitioner license (NP, APRN) is mandatory.
