Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) - Summary- Contract opportunity for an Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) in a comprehensive cardiac care facility.
- Assignment duration: 4 months, beginning August 2025.
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, overnight shifts (2200 - 0800).
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management and documentation.
- Work in a high-acuity, STEMI-designated cardiac care environment.
- Provide advanced clinical care to inpatients with diverse cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology cases.
- Perform comprehensive consults and respond to floor calls for cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately using EPIC EMR.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to treatment planning.
- Respond promptly to emergent cardiac events in a STEMI facility as part of the care team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and protocols in inpatient cardiology care.
