Injection Molding Technician - Summary
- Full-time position focused on the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding equipment
- Responsible for ensuring product quality and process efficiency
- Integral part of a skilled manufacturing team in a high-output environment
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform lock out/tag out procedures to ensure safety during equipment maintenance and repairs
- Execute scheduled maintenance and quality checks on all injection molding machines and related robotics
- Set up, adjust, and operate molding machines to produce high-quality components that meet or exceed specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the molding process to minimize downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maintain optimal equipment performance
- Work closely with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Monitor production output, ensuring adherence to company safety protocols and quality standards at all times
- Utilize tools such as Kawasaki 6-axis robots, vibratory bowl feeders, camera vision systems, table cutters, and capping stations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to facilitate efficient operations

Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferred 5 to 7 years of experience working with injection molding machinery and associated robotics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting abilities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure product quality and specification compliance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Experience with Kawasaki 6-axis robots, vibratory bowl feeders, camera vision systems, table cutters, and capping stations preferred
