Infrastructure Automation Engineer - Summary
- Lead automation initiatives for certificate lifecycle management within enterprise PKI environments.
- Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts using Ansible, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Support and administer Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) and related enterprise PKI components.
- Integrate automation solutions with enterprise infrastructure, including server environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline security and compliance operations through automation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Automate certificate lifecycle management processes, including issuance, renewal, deployment, validation, and compliance monitoring.
- Design, implement, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows to standardize and optimize infrastructure automation tasks.
- Develop PowerShell scripts for operational tooling and automation, with a preference for experience in Python scripting.
- Administer and support enterprise PKI environments, ensuring high availability and security of certificate services.
- Work closely with IT security and infrastructure teams to integrate automation into existing and new systems, including both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices to enhance deployment efficiency and security posture.
- Document automation processes and provide training or support to stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible, including developing and managing playbooks and repeatable workflows.
- Proven expertise in administering Microsoft ADCS and supporting enterprise PKI environments.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational tooling; Python scripting experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete certificate lifecycle for enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience integrating automation with enterprise infrastructure such as Windows and Linux servers, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure as Code solutions.
