IDR is seeking a Informatica MDM Engineer to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is within a leading organization in the healthcare and public health industry, focusing on data management solutions to improve operational efficiencies and data quality.
Position Overview for the Informatica MDM Engineer:
- Analyze business objectives and identify solutions to improve existing computer systems
- Collaborate with organizational units to understand current operational procedures and data requirements
- Develop detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps
- Review computer system capabilities to determine feasibility of requested programs or changes
- Utilize Informatica tools to establish and maintain master data and reference data for large organizations
Requirements for the Informatica MDM Engineer:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360
- Proven experience establishing Master Data and Reference data within large organizations
- At least 10 years of experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ
- Experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
